About Pita's Planters

A small, locally-owned plant shop in East Dallas, specializing in rare and unique indoor plants. We offer handmade planters crafted from recycled materials, 3D-printed pots, and a variety of plant-related items!

Located at 9540 Casa Linda Plaza Ste 294G, Dallas, TX 75218, Pita's Planters operates as a plant nursery serving Dallas in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Dallas, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Texas, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Hours are published for 3 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–4 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Pita's Planters at (469) 967-4733; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, pitasplanters.com.

On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 72 reviews, which is a strong result for a plant nursery in Dallas and suggests consistent service.

Dallas is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Dallas follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I absolutely love this little plant shop! I stumbled across it about a year ago, and now I make a point to stop in at least once a month. They have an amazing selection of both common and rare houseplants at really great prices (including a fantastic variety of hoyas πŸ’š). Every plant I’ve purchased here has been healthy, pest-free, and often already showing new growth. It’s clear they take great care of their plants. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Because it’s a small business, there’s a personal touch you just don’t get at big box stores, like, sometimes you even walk in and get greeted by Pita herself! ☺️ They also host really fun and engaging live sales on Palmstreet, and you can conveniently pick up your purchases at the store afterward. Amazing plants, great prices, and a team that feels more like a family (and the kind of people you just want to be friends with). It’s the kind of place you want to linger in… and inevitably leave with another plant!

A friend of mine told me about this plant store. I happen to be in the area and stopped by. They have a large selection for such a small place. Very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. I did not buy this time because of other scheduled events, but will be back when I have more time and buy what I did see that I wanted. πŸͺ΄

Visited the plant shop today and picked up 9 beautiful plants. I also grab a bag of Pita' Pon, Classy Rabbit plant substrate and Foliage Focus. Plant collectors know how great these products are. I'm very pleased with their selection and the health of the plants. Every plant lover must stop by and take home a beautiful plant, supplies and cute gift items. I heard about you on YouTube and I'm glad I made my way to your shop. Big thanks to David for assisting me today.

I absolutely love and adore this plant shop! I have purchased plants from here several times. All of the plants are healthy, and I will continue to purchase from here! There is also a wonderful selection of plant accessories and also jewelry and planters, which are adorable. Not only that, the owner is the sweetest! This plant shop is definitely a must go!!

Pita's Planters is my "go-to" and most favorite plant store in DFW area! They always have a good variety of common and rare plants, and best of all, always at good prices! In addition to plants, they also have cute plant theme keychains, earrings, and stationaries. Owner is super friendly and nice as well! I just LOVE going there for a good plant shopping and always walk away with 4 or 5 plants. Photos attached are just a few of the plants I bought from them!
